BROADALBIN Florence M. White, 78, died Monday, September 6, 2004 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy following a brief illness. She was born in Troy on February 1, 1926, a daughter of Frank T. and Florence McGrath Woods and was a 1944 graduate of Cathedral High School in Albany. Mrs. White resided in Albany and moved to Broadalbin in 1984. She was an accounting clerk with New York Telephone, retiring in 1984. Mrs. White was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #337, a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post #8690, a member and past N.Y. State president of La Femmes Cabane #143, all of Broadalbin; and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was married to John (Jack) White on March 17, 1951. He died January 1, 2003. Survivors include a son, Michael P. White and his fiancee Patty O'Brien of Troy; a daughter, Patricia W. Leuthold and her husband Ron of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother, Frank Woods of Syracuse; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place at the Parkview Crematorium, Schenectady. Final burial will be held at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Memorial contributions may be made to Voiture #143 Nurses Training Fund, in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Robert M.
