CARPENTER, FLORENCE ELAINE, 82, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday May 15, 2007 at Oaklawn Nursing Home. The former Florence Elaine Myers a native of Titusville, PA was preceded in death by her parents, Ethyl and Raymond Myers. She had a business college education, was retired from General Electric Company in 1989 and was a member of Southeast Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Victor; and her children, Linda Geary (Ron) and Gregory Carpenter (Debi); two grandchildren, Wendy Potempa (Eric) and Mark Geary (Brenna); and five great-grandchildren, Gavin, Nate and Audrey Potempa and Trey and Keenan Geary. Funeral services will be noon Friday at Southeast Christian Church with entombment in Evergreen. The family will receive visitors Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at the Pearson- Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd. in Middletown and from 10 a.m.-noon Friday in the fireside room at church.
