ObituaryFlorence E. "Betty" Davis, 89, of Fort Myers, passed away August 1, 2006. She has been a resident here since moving from Massachusetts three years ago, was a member of the Church Of The Cross, past Mother advisor of the Rainbow for Girls, member of the Rebekah Lodge, Eastern Star, served as a volunteer for the Counsel on Ageing and taught crafts in various nursing homes.Betty was the devoted and loving mother of Sandra L. Richmond (Clifton C.), Karen E. Nice (Roger) and grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Davis, and great-granddaughter Kristen L. Issacsen.A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, August 7, 2006 at 11 AM at the Church Of The Cross.
