Florence Cox, age 91, of Ozark, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Mercy Villa. She was born December 5, 1915 in Dallas Texas, the daughter of Josephine Rush. Florence was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ozark. She loved jewelry and working with preschool children. She sold Avon for more than thirty years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Cox; and a granddaughter, Melinda Cox. Survivors include: her daughter, Linda and husband Ray Weaver, Ozark; three sons, Melvin and wife Charlotte of Wichita, Marvin and wife Pamela of Wichita, and Larry and wife Joann of Edmond, Oklahoma. Viewing will be at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, on Sunday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Troy Rhoden and Jim Jeffries officiating. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery.
