BUTLER, Florence Margaret (nee Cochrane) October 21st, 1923 died March 1st, 2011 Florence Margaret Butler of Edmonton passed away on March 1, 2011 at the age of 87 years. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband George, and children Edward (Sandra), Valerie Magill (Hugh), Bonnie Blakely (Dave), and Karen Bell (Greg). Ten grandchildren, Michael, Brian, Christine and Sheila (Magill); Amara and Danaca (Bell); Angela and Pamela (Misner) and Nick (Blakely), and Julie Hartley (Luke) and great-granddaughter Xyia, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Florence was predeceased by her parents Matthew and Nellie Cochrane, sisters Annie and Dora, and her brother Tom and twin brother Charles. Florence was actively involved in Sunday School work, Explorers, and the U.C.W., and volunteer work with the West End Seniors Activity Centre. She graduated from Covenant College in 1951 and married George Butler in June 1951. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew's United Church.
