Florence Bernice Cox, 84, of Oliver Springs, died Monday, July 28, 2014, in Briarcliff Health Care Center, Oak Ridge.She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Gilmore and Minnie Cheeks Gilmore; her husbands, Winfred Shoopman and Albert L. Cox; and a stepdaughter, Elessa Hatfield.Survivors include sons, Charles Kenneth Shoopman and Wimp Shoopman, both of Clinton; daughters, Linda Edwards and Sandy Brown, both of Oliver Springs; and stepchildren, Elaine Melton, Oliver Springs, and Mary Margaret Clowers, Morgan County.Private funeral service was at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 31, in Sharp Funeral Home chapel, Oliver Springs, with the Rev. Eddie Neeley officiating. Burial was at Mount Pisgah Cemetery, Oliver Springs.
