Florence B. Mitchell of Afton Florence B. Mitchell, 97, of Afton, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008. She was predeceased by her two husbands, Tracy Doolittle and Hartie Mitchell. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie McPherson, Afton; her grandchildren, Tracey and Calvin Tallmadge, Afton, Cindy Jones and Randy Murwin, Afton; her great-grandchildren, Anthony Olshefski, Kyle Velten, Logan, Hailey and Carman Tallmadge; a sister-in-law, Kay Baker, Afton; and also nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Eva (Hill) Baker; and three brothers, Robert, Everett and Lee Baker. She was a member of St. Ann's Episcopal Church, Afton and a retired Hairdresser in the Afton area. Memorial Services will be held at St. Ann's Episcopal Church, Main Street, Afton on Thursday, February 28, 2008, at 3 p.m. Rev. Paul Meglathery, Interim Rector, will officiate. Burial will be in Nineveh Presbyterian Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Afton Emergency Squad, POB 343, Afton, N.Y. 13730.
