Decatur<!--Decatur-->Funeral for Flora Mae Brown Morris, 76, of Decatur will be Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Brad Eades officiating.Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Morris, who died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at her residence, was born May 31, 1931, in Morgan County to Edd and Mae Brown. She was a resident of Kalamazoo, Mich., for 60 years. Survivors include one son, Ronald Lee Morris and wife, Janice, of Michigan; two grandchildren, Jason Morris and wife, Mindy, and Tracy Morris, both of Michigan; two sisters, Earline Jones of Decatur and Marie Bradford of Michigan; three great-grandchildren, Jordon and Jayson Morris, and Kaylee Mae McKinney, all of Michigan; stepmother, Lydia Mae Hester of Russellville; two half-brothers, Eddie Lee Brown of Killen, and Bill Brown of Leighton; two half-sisters, Mary Alice Walker and Deborah Kay Gibson, both of Tuscumbia; and many nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Mike Terry, Steve Terry, Jason Morris, Joseph Hammonds, David Brown and Jeff Johnson.The family wish to express their gratitude and a very special &#8220;thank you&#8221; to Mellody Brady, caregiver for Mrs. Morris. They also wish to express their thanks to Hospice of the Valley and to Chaplain Brad Eades.
