CARROLLTON Flora Lewis Henderson, age 89, of Carrollton, died Feb. 1, 2008, at home. Mrs. Henderson unselfishly donated her body to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Anatomical Donor Program. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Sansing Country Home Chapel. Skelton Funeral Home of Reform handled the arrangements. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the home of Florea Sansing, 1914 Country View Rd., Carrollton, AL.She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius Henderson; her infant son, Joe Norris Henderson; her sons, David C. Henderson and Robert Lewis Henderson; her parents; her brother, Ernest Lewis; and her sister, Trannie Tate.Survivors include her daughters, Judy Allen (Howard) of Gordo, Jeanette Stockman (George) of Carrollton, and Florea Sansing (Clay) of Carrollton; her son, Charles W. Henderson (Kaye) of Mobile; her sister, Earline Jones of Aliceville; her brother, Lloyd Lewis (Bertha) of South Carolina; fifteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.Mrs. Henderson was born May 5, 1918, in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Grady and Lela McCool Lewis. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, former employee of American Bosch and Huyck Felt Company, a homemaker, and life long resident of Pickens County.Honorary pallbearers are the friends and neighbors of the Sapps community.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to the American Heart Association, Southeast Affiliate, P.O.
