Flora Leona Giles Jones     BOOTHBAY HARBOR - Flora Leona Giles Jones of Boothbay died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, with her son and daughter at her side.     Flora was born at home in Boothbay during a snowstorm on May 11, 1925, to Samuel Fremont and Esther (Gray) Giles. She graduated from Boothbay High School in 1942 and Gorham State Teacher's College, Gorham, Maine, in 1945.      She taught in the Jackson Grammar School and Josiah Bartlett Elementary School over her 42-year career.      Flora is survived by her son, Gene G. Chandler of Bartlett, N.H.; and her daughter, Mikell (Chandler) Perry and her husband Frank Perry of Fryeburg; four grandchildren, Erik G. Chandler and his wife Lori, of Bartlett, N.H., Justin C. Chandler and his wife Corie of Telluride, Colo., Jesica (Beyerle) Garrou and her husband Henry of San Francisco, Calif., and Christopher Perry of Fryeburg; and two great-grandchildren, Ella Rose and Morgan Brooke Chandler.      She was predeceased by her husband, David Lloyd Jones of Bartlett, N.H.; her sister, Susan (Giles) Pendleton; her brother, Marshall Giles; her grandson, Brett Chandler Beyerle; and her daughter-in-law, Nancy Chandler.    A funeral service will be held at the Simmons, Harrington & Hall Funeral Home, Rte. 27, Boothbay, on Saturday, April 22, at 2 p.m. A memorial service will be held in Bartlett, N.H. at a later date.         Donations may be made in Flora's memory to:    The Nancy Chandler-Brett Beyerle Memorial Fund    RR 1, Box 100    Intervale, NH 03845    or    The Boothbay Civic Association    P.O. 81    Boothbay, Maine 04537         Arrangements are entrusted to Simmons,Harrington & Hall Funeral Home,975 Wiscasset Rd., Boothbay.    Toodle-doo.
