Decatur<!--Decatur-->Funeral for Flora Lee Jenkins, 80, of Decatur will be Tuesday, June 26, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Jenkins, who died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at her home, was born July 18, 1926, in Morgan County to Robert and Daisy Thompson. She was baptized at Center Springs Baptist Church. She married Henry Waymond Jenkins on Nov. 9, 1942 and moved to Decatur. She was a homemaker and her life&#8217;s work was her devotion to her family. Her door was always open and she will be dearly missed by all.She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one sister, Estelle Singer; two brothers, Russell Thompson and Willard Thompson; and her granddaughter Bonnie Jean Gower.She is survived by six daughters, Patsy Garrison of Hartselle, Becky Garmany (Wesley) of Danville, Kathy Gower (Mack) of Decatur, Debbie Martin (Tony) of Hartselle, Connie Draper of Decatur, and Tammy Waugh (Micheal) of Decatur; four sisters, Nora Wilson of Hartselle, Frances Turney of Florida, Elizabeth Prater of Michigan, and Annette Gurganus of Oakman, Ala.; one brother, Joe Thompson of Parish, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grand-children.Pallbearers will be Laddie Cannon, Shannon Wilson, Tracy Maples, Chuck Parker, Wayne Gurganus, and Clinton Ledlow.
