Fitzhugh Lee Brown Jr., 86, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at his residence in Bell. He was born on June 2, 1926 in Virginia Beach, Va., to Fitzhugh L. Brown, Sr. and Ruby Mosley Brown. He moved to Bell in 1999 from Homestead. Mr. Brown served in the U.S. Army, was a mechanic with the U.S. Government and a jack of all trades. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rose Watson Brown, of Bell; a daughter, Debbi (Danny) Hodge, of Bell; two sons, Bernard Lee (Melva) Brown, of Virginia Beach; and his other, son of Hudson; a sister, Frances Elizabeth Chancey of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family held a private memorial service on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Arrangements were under the care of Watson Funeral Homet-Trenton.
