FITZGERALD Geraldine Smith Fitzgerald, age 84, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away November 15, 2011. Geraldine was born to the late Tracy Smith and Adel Harrell Smith on August 15, 1927 in Douglas, GA but has resided in Jacksonville for most of her life. Geraldine retired from City Coach Lines, Inc where she was employed as the secretary and treasurer for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years: Albert Joseph Fitzgerald, Sr. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Judy A. (Joe) Kight & Joe (Ruth Ann) Fitzgerald; her five grandchildren: Stacie A Kight, Joe Kight, Jr., Albert (Lisa Moore) Fitzgerald, III, Chandler J. Fitzgerald, Jessica L. (Duane) Chowing and six great grandchildren, which were the love of her life, : Conner K. Fenwick, Clayton K. Fenwick, Claire F. Fenwick, Kayla M. Kight, Alyssa Chowing and Wyatt Eady; as well as additional family, nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial services will be held on Monday December 5, 2011 at 11:00 am at Fort Caroline Christian Church, 7535 Fort Caroline Road, Jacksonville, FL 32277 with Pastor Jim Bird officiating.
