Obituary of Fannie-Smith Carter

FANNIE SMITH CARTER 1915 - 2010 Fannie Smith Carter, 95, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010. She was born in Greenville, AL on April 25, 1915. She was preceded in death by her husband, Finley Carter, Sr. Survivors include her son, Finley Carter, Jr.; daughters, Audrey Carter Farley, Mary Carter and Michaela Carter, all of Pensacola; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Services will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 12 noon at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. E. A. Hickerson officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Public viewing will be held from 12 noon til 9pm on Friday, July 16, 2010. Joe Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
