Fannie Mae Johnson <br/> --> Fannie Mae Johnson SPARTANBURG, SC- Fannie Mae Johnson, 91, formally of 225 Charlesworth Avenue, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 30, 2014. She was born on July 11, 1923 to the late Mr. Will Moody and Ms. Bradie Salters. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Spartanburg County, South Carolina; she was the widow of Mr. Willie Lee Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a faithful and devoted member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories her daughters, Emily Jo Marshall and Elwillie (George) Linder both of Spartanburg, SC; her grandchildren reared in the home: Vickie Williams of Greenville, SC, Robin Lann of Spartanburg, SC, Carla (Tim) Dawkins of Boiling Springs, SC, Monica Marshall and Erwin Marshall both of Spartanburg, SC; her eight great grandchildren and nine great great-grandchildren. A Celebration of the Life of Fannie Mae Johnson will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 502 S. Daniel Morgan Ave., Spartanburg, SC 29303. The Dr. M. Keith McDaniel, Sr. will officiate. Interment will be held in Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, SC 29376. The family will receive friends at the home of her granddaughter, Carla Dawkins, 206 Jolena Court, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
