Fannie "Cotton" Jones WOODRUFF, SC-- Fannie "Cotton" Lanford Jones, 77, of 815 Old Switzer Road, passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 at her residence. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Boney and Agnes Richards Lanford. She was a member of the Church of God Faith and was a retired textile employee with Abney Mills, formerly in Woodruff. Surviving are one daughter, Suncillia "Sissy" Howard and her husband Jeff of Spartanburg, SC; one stepdaughter, Maudie Belcher and her husband Byron of Taylors, SC; three sons, Brian Jones of Switzer, SC, James Jones and his wife Vickie of Boiling Springs, SC, and Tony Fuller and his wife Libby of Switzer; and one stepson, Harold Jones and his wife Bernice of Eden, NC. Visitation will be held tonight, Sunday, August 9, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lanford Funeral Home, 257 North Main Street, Woodruff. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, August 10, 2009 at 9:00 AM at Greenpond Memorial Cemetery by the Rev. Susan Smith.
