Family-Placed Funeral Notice JUNE SCHILLING HARRIS June Schilling Harris, formerly of Key West, FL died in her Lake Worth, FL home Friday, November 25. She was 90. Born in Adell, WI, she moved to South Florida and married the late Norton Harris in 1934. Mr. Harris passed away in 1991 at age 80. A graduate of Waldo Wisconsin High School where she was valedictorian, Mrs. Harris went on to distinguish herself in both academics and athletics. She headed the Key West Garden Club, fought for ocean environmental laws long before it was popular and took golfing to championship levels after raising three boys while in Key West, Calvin currently of Chicago, IL, Robert of Winter Park, FL, and Leslie of Oviedo, FL. Three grandchildren, Lynn Cera of Gainesville, FL, Cathy Gallagher of St. Louis, MO and Greg Harris of Mead, CO. Four great-grandchildren, Sage, June and Reid Cera, and Lauren Gallagher. June Harris is also survived by younger brother, Dr. Robert Shilling of Madison, WI. Her older brother, Woodrow Schilling of Sheboygan Falls, WI passed away in 1999. The Harris' were long time members of Grace Lutheran Church in Key West and since moving to Lake Worth in 1980, members of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. A remembrance will be held at the Harris home in Lake Worth on Saturday, December 3 from 4 – 8 PM at 7317 Pine Park Dr. N., Lake Worth, FL, 33467. Ph. (561) 439-6318.
