Family-Placed Funeral Notice JOHN W. WILLIAMS January 13, 1950 - April 14, 2006 John, age 56, was born at Good Sam Hospital, graduated John I. Leonard HS class of 1968, and lived the last 50 years in Lake Worth, FL. John died early Friday morning due to cancer and had his loved ones at his side. John was a colorful character, published writer, versatile artist, real estate agent, hairdresser, construction worker, and accomplished musician. He formed several local bands known as Emerald City, Black Jack, and the Johnny Williams Blues Band. He is survived by his sister Jayn, brother in law Jeff Linzer, nephew Joshua Linzer, stepchildren Mike Daneels and Shelly Williams and his grandson Joey Williams whom he adored. A brief memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Saturday, April 22 at Dorsey E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL. The family will receive their friends from 6-7 PM.
