Retired from the U.S. Navy with the American Theatre Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. He was the past president of the Florida Automotive Association, Florida Kiwanis Club, Masonic Lodge of Florida, 32nd Degree Mason and Al Menah Shriner. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas B. and Martha (Matti) Eaves Henderson; first wife, Geneva Mavity Henderson. Survived by sister, Alnita Grant of Chattanooga; son, Scott Thomas Henderson of Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Cindy Bowling of Mt. Juliet, TN; granddaughter, Angela Henderson of Los Angeles, CA; great-grandson, Rigsby Taylor of New Mexico; nephew, Don Grant of Chattanooga; niece, Joy Grant of Atlanta, GA.
