Family-Placed Funeral Notice BERTHA DANIELS SMITH June 17, 1916 - July 11, 2004 Born in Eastman, Georgia, daughter of Ned and Lainie Daniels, she married Holland Smith, Sr. in 1932, and came to West Palm Beach in 1936. Bertha was also a member of St. John Baptist Church, WPB for over 60 years. Mrs. Smith is survived by son, Holland (Vera) Smith, Jr.; grandchildren: Dennis (Megan) Smith and Ligia Smith; great-grandchildren: Ciara, Samantha, and Tate Smith; sisters-in-law, Effie Stephens and Marie Daniels; nieces and nephews: Jesse Moore, Sr., Robert (Cearlea) Jackson, Jr., Christine Wynn, Pearlean Jackson, Glenda Taylor, Raslean Allen, and Ruby (Martest) Sheffield; and special friends: Pearl Graham, Gail Washington, Mercedes Broadfoot, Michelle Dority, Levar Washington, Willie Ben Ealy, and Felton Knight.
