Obituary of Fred-Rolland Johnson


JOHNSON, FRED ROLLAND, Age 67 of Winter Park, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Winter Park Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Johnson was born November 11, 1938 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Lee and Pauline (Gilbert) Johnson. Fred was an Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War, in addition to serving two years in the National Guard. He was a member of South Seminole Church of Christ since the early 70's. Fred is survived by his loving wife, Faye Jean, and they shared 45 years of beautiful marriage together. His is also survived by his daughter, Terry Ann (Tom) Truong; granddaughter, Karina Ann Truong; brother, Chester Johnson of Talladega, AL; sister, Dorothy England of Gardendale, AL; and two nieces and four nephews. A Celebration of Life for Mr. Johnson will be held Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 11AM in the Howell Branch Chapel of Collison Family Funeral Homes with Rev. Richard Montecalvo of Full Gospel Assembly officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens with full military honors. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, 9-11AM, at the funeral home.
