In loving memory of Fred Lee Taylor, 65, who passed away suddenly on March 17, 20l0. Fred was a longtime resident of Ormond Beach, FL. He was a retired Navy veteran and enjoyed a lengthy career as a funeral director and trade embalmer. Fred was also a licensed realtor and worked for Adams-Cameron in Volusia County. He was an owner/operator with his wife of Yesterday & Today's Inc, an antique shop in Sanford, FL. His deep passion for animals drove him to rescue many abused, neglected and abandoned animals in his lifetime. He was well known for his perverse sense of humor, empathy and tremendous capacity for kindness. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Louise; two daughters, Kimberly and Lisa; son-in-law, John Bandorf; five grandsons; and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 22, 2010 in the Chapel of Cardwell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the ARNI Foundation.
