Obituary of Everett-E. -Van Horn


VAN HORN, Everett E., 83, of Tampa, passed away January 6, 2006. Born in St. Louis, Mo., he moved to the area 60 years ago from his native home town. A member of American Legion Post 138, Port Tampa, member of the Hell's Angels "Might in Flight" 303rd Bombardment Group (H), Mr. Van Horn was a radio operator flying 34 missions in a B-17 Bomber during World War II. Predeceased by his wife, Eleanor, he is survived by his brother, William H. (Helen) Van Horn Jr.; sister, Lucille (Walter) Rosemann; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life in his memory will take place 11 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2006, at Mr. Van Horn's residence. Services entrusted to Brewer & Sons FH 3328 S. Dale Mabry Highway (813) 835-4991
