SCOTT, Evelyn Young (nee Williams) Peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 29th, 1999, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Dr. John A. L. Scott. Dear mother of John and Mary Scott of Nova Scotia, Mary Millen of Nepean, Ann and the late Clare Brant of Belleville, Judith and Gil Warren of London. Dear sister of Ruth Williams of Brantford and the late Doris Chamberlain and David Williams. Cherished grandmother of David and Alana Scott, Meaghan and Scott Millen, Charles and Melissa Brant, May and Margo Warren. Evelyn was a graduate of the UofT '33, a life member of the United Church Women and a longtime member of the Frederick Bond Chapter IODE. The family will be pleased to receive friends for one hour prior to a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, August 2nd at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL-McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph. Reception to follow in the Trillium Room of the Funeral Home. Cremation and Inurnment Woodlawn Cemetery. The family is grateful to the Victorian Order of Nurses for the palliative care and compassionate support which allowed our mother to remain at home.
