Funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Gap Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Her body is at Liberty Mortuary and will be placed in the church 9:30 a.m. Saturday.Evelyn Hunsaker Smith, 79, of Six Mile, died Thursday, August 3, 2006 in Rock Hill, South Carolina at the home of her daughter.Born in Cobden, Illinois, she was the widow of Charlie Wesley Smith, and a daughter of the late Ogle J. and Esther Sturgeon Hunsaker. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of Gap Hill Baptist Church.Surviving are two sons, Daniel Smith of Six Mile, and Jay Smith of Foley, Ala.; two daughters, Alice Overbeck of Charlotte and Belinda Hartis of Rock Hill; two sisters, Mary Tarleton and Pat Phillips, both of Bayminette, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.Memorial messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.libertymortuary.com.
