MORRIS _ Evelyn Isabel (nee Perrin) 1915 - 2006 Evelyn Isabel Morris passed away peacefully on September 23, 2006 at the age of 91. Evelyn was born in Terence, Manitoba, on June 25, 1915 to Sidney and Elsie Perrin. She met her future husband, Jack Morris, at Sioux Lookout, Ontario and were later married at Lincoln, England in 1938. They returned to Canada in 1951, settling first in Bowness, then the Altadore area and then moved to Surrey, B.C. in 1965. Evelyn returned to Calgary in 1998, and had been residing at the Aspen Lodge. She loved to travel and had seen Canada from coast to coast. Evelyn was a dedicated church worker in the Anglican Church as a vestry member, Lay Administrator, choir member and choir director at both St. Mark's and the Anglican Church of the Epiphany in Surrey. A loving mother, "Nana" and community volunteer. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Jack and brother Douglas Perrin. She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Aime (Harry) of Red Deer, and by her children, Rita Brown (Geoff) of Calgary, Marilyn Gerow (Gerry) of Kamloops, B.C., Doug (Jane) of Revelstoke, B.C. along with her loving grandchildren, Kathy, Ryan, Chris and Michael Brown, Sean and Brad Gerow, Alison and Joel Morris and eight great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church at 1407 - 7 Avenue N.W. on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jagdutt Singh presiding. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Unit 59 of Rockyview Hospital for their care and kindness.
