EVELYN M. JOHNSON CHESTERTON, IN Evelyn Marie Johnson, 91, of Chesterton, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013 at her home. She was born on June 24, 1920 in Chicago, IL to the late Victor E. and Ruth (Anderson) Johnson. Evelyn married Delmar T. Johnson of Chesterton on April 27, 1947. This loving union lasted just over 50 years with Delmar passing away on May 7, 1997. She is survived by her two daughters and their families: Adele (Ronn) Eggert and Lynne (Thomas) Martin; grandchildren: Jennifer Martin, Samuel Dayton, and Michele Dayton. Evelyn will be greatly missed by family and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2050 W. 1100 N., Chesterton with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the Chesterton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday June 29, 2013 at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd St., Chesterton.
