SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – Evelyn Mae Johnson (nee Finnie), 92, passed away June 3, 2010, at Friendship Village, Schaumburg, Ill. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Johnson, and brothers, Edward Finnie, George Finnie and John Finnie of Vermont. She was the loving mother of Christine Johnson of Bartlett, Ill., Edward Johnson of Westlake Village, Calif.; grandmother to Ryan and Heather Darr, Eric and Kevin Johnson; loving sister to James Finnie of Barre and Thomas Finnie of Manchester, Conn. Evelyn grew up in Vermont and moved to Illinois when she married Arnold in 1948; she remained there until her death. Visitation on June 7, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 West Golf Road, in Schaumburg. Funeral service at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. on June 8.
