Evelyn Keebler Davis - RINCON - Evelyn Keebler Davis, 94, died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at her residence. The Effingham County native was a Methodist and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Hunter Davis; and brothers, Edward Keebler and Fred Allison Keebler. Survivors include her children, Jerraleen Cavallaro of Rincon, Francis D. Davis and wife Alice of San Jose, CA, Lenora Anne Allan and husband Ronald of Trinity, FL; sister, Annie Louisa Hodges of Rincon; grandchildren, Joetta Stiehr of Pleasant Hill, CA, Joe Francis Cavallaro of San Diego, CA, John Cavallaro of San Antonio, TX, Stephen Davis and wife Carol of San Francisco, CA, Sidney Davis of San Jose, CA, and Jennifer Reed of Indianapolis, IN; great-grandchildren, Brian Whitten and Daniella Evelyn Cavallaro; great-great-grandchildren, Isabel Whitten and Emily Anne Whitten; dear friend, Mary Crutcher of Grants Pass, OR; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel. Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
