NEW ALBANY - Johnson, Evelyn "Bernice," 89, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 at her home. She was a native of New Albany and was the widow of Arthur Orville Johnson. She was a retired production worker at the old ICI America and a member of the K & I Railroad Retirement Reunion Group. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She is survived by her sons, Michael Johnson (Barbara), New Albany and Randy Johnson (Janet), Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren, Ronald Johnson, Stephanie Young and James Johnson; four great-grandchildren, Justin and Allison Johnson and Samantha and Jacob Young; five stepgrandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee and Irene Wolfe, and a sister, Ada Welz. Funeral services will be at 11a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church. Visitation: noon - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Market Street Chapel / Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church.
