Evelyn G. Cooper Frankfort Evelyn G. Cooper, 94, of Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in her home. Evelyn was born in Frankfort on January 29, 1919, a daughter of Peter and Carrie (Berg) Withers. In 1947, Evelyn was united in marriage to Leon F. Cooper, a blessed union of 49 years until his death in 1996. For many years, she was employed as a Dental Technician in Utica and also worked on the family farm. Evelyn was of the Methodist faith. For many years, Evelyn and her husband, Leon, were involved with 4-H. Evelyn is survived by her six children, Joan Ward, Utica, Jewell Kent, Remsen, Lucy Cooper, Leon C. (Martha) Cooper, Peter (Sharon) Cooper and Ila Cooper, all of Frankfort. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Evelyn was predeceased by a daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Jack Wheeler; two sons-in-law, Roger Kent and Robert Ward; a granddaughter, Cynthia (Ward) Jones; a great-granddaughter, Madalyn Tomasi; two brothers; and three sisters. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
