JOHNSON, Evelyn Dorothy Marjorie (nee Foss) Dorothy left us quietly in her 99th year on the early morning of July 12, 2013 for a rose garden beyond our world. Predeceased by her husband, Clarence; son, Allan; grandson, Gerald; and son-in-law, Jim Staples, she leaves her courage and determination, her wisdom, her joy of life's gifts (including her love of chocolate and roses) with her three daughters; Anita Staples, Beverley Johnson (Don Ruggles) and Evelyn Bachynski (Bill); her daughter-in-law, Olga; her seven remaining grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Sincere thanks and gratitude to her caregiver, Darisa and the VIHA nurses who provided such good care and attention in her time of need. A private family service will be held in her honour on Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Flowers are gratefully declined; tributes, if desired, may be made to a charity of one's choice.
