NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Evelyn M. Cooper, 92, wife of the late J.T. Cooper, passed away on December 10, 2012 at University Hospital. Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012 in the Chapel of Rowland Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park. Mrs. Cooper was born in Swainsboro, GA in 1920. She retired from JC Penney and spent her remaining years surrounded by her family, friends and members of Grace United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Donald E. Cooper; grandchildren, Michelle, Casey, Buddy, Don, Terry and Eric; as well as several great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her son Tommy and her grandson Jeffrey. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
