Evelyn Burgess CLIFTON SPRINGS - Evelyn Burgess, age 93, of Teft Avenue, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic. Services will be held Wednesday, June 9, at 7 p.m. at Patrick Funeral Home, 26 W. Main St., Clifton Springs. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in River View Cemetery. Friends may contribute to their favorite charity in Evelyn's memory. Evelyn was born on Dec. 1, 1916 in Clifton Springs and was the daughter of the late Josias and Lena DeCann. She lived in the area all of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her kids and grandkids. With dedication to her family, Evelyn earned the right to be called Œthe best grandma in the world.' Evelyn will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her children, Russell Burgess and Deanna Burgess DeWispelaere; grandchildren, Dawn (John) Wood, Jeff (Penny) Burgess, Kitty (Wayne) Caffey, Jim (Denise) Burgess, Howard (Barb) Burgess, Christine (Mack) Odgen, Tina (John) Davis and Russ (Liz) Hadlock; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
