Evangelist Martha Adkins Jackson 1962-2007 SAVANNAH - Evangelist Martha Adkins Jackson, 44, entered eternal rest Wednesday June 6, 2007 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was a native of Savannah GA, and attended the public schools of Chatham County. She was a 1982 graduate of Alfred E. Beach High School. She received a diploma in Child Development from Savannah State University. She was employed by the board of education for over eight year. She was a very loving and caring person who reared several children of which she did not give birth to. She was a member of Mission on the Rock Holiness Church where she was an Evangelist and Sunday School teacher. She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted husband of 24 years; Ricky Jackson, Sr. of Savannah, GA, two sons; Ricky Jackson, Jr. and Samuel Jackson, both of Savannah, two daughters; Crystal J. (Antonio, Sr.) Baker, Larease Jackson, both of Savannah, two grand children; Antalazia Baker, Antonio Baker, Jr., both of Savannah, two brothers; Apostle J. H. (Brenda) Adkins, Jr., Solomon Adkins, all of Savannah, GA, two sisters; Evangelist Mary ( Gregory) Green of Savannah, GA, Profitess Diane (Pastor Lawrence) Larry of Jessup, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
