WATSON, EVA MARY, 97, of Middletown, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 3, 2008, with her family by her side. She was the former Eva Krueger and a native of Angola, IN. She was a retired elementary teacher with 29 years of service in the Indianapolis Public School District. She had attended Manchester College, was a member of Hurstbourne Christian Church and Jeffersontown Christian Church - Disciples of Christ. She was an avid bridge player and a slide trombonist. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John W. Watson. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Steven Hernly, Dee Ann Thomas, Jane Anderson, Martha Sievert, Mary Helen Axman, Tony Watson, George Watson, Suzanne Lyle, Mary Margaret Pierson, Bobby Watson, M.C. Watson, Thomas Watson and Jim, John and Craig Watson; and sister-in-law Jane Hernly. Her funeral services will be held on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with burial to follow in Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, IN. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 6, 2008 from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
