RANDOLPH - Eva Mary Larocque, 93, of Randolph, died Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Menig Extended Care Facility in Randolph.She was born March 6, 1916, in Randolph Center, Vt., the daughter of Phillip and Minnie (LaValley) Therrien. She had lived in Brookfield, Canada, East Randolph, and finally Randolph, and was married to Andrew LaRocque, Sr., who died in 1988.Eva had worked as a nurses aide at Gifford Medical Center, helped provide elderly home health care, and assisted at the Montesori School in Randolph. She had wintered some in Florida, enjoyed sewing, and was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Randolph.Survivors include her six sons, Armand A. LaRocque of Dover, Del., Alphonse R. LaRocque of Sun City, Ariz., Jerome P. LaRocque and Raymond E. LaRocque both of Morriston, Fla., Andrew LaRocque, Jr., of Church Hill, Tenn., and Rene R. LaRocque of Olympia, Wash.; four daughters, Janet T. Gregoire of Barre, Sylvia L. Pierce of Dunnellon, Fla., Theresa A. LaRocque of Royalton, and Carmen S. Vande Griek of Randolph Center; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.She was predeceased by her brothers, William, Henry, Alfred, Romeo, Paul, and Maurice Therrien, and by sisters, Hermina Jennings, Laura Gaudette, and Blanche Courtemanche.The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 13 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Randolph, with Rev. John Milanese, officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
