Field – Died in Nashua, Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, Mrs. Eva Maria (Gagnon) Field, 92, widow of Francis H. Field, and a resident of Windham & Pelham for many years. Calling hours will be held at The FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, Main Street, Pelham, NH, Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery. Everyone is invited to gather at the church. --- WINDHAM, N.H. -- Eva Maria (Gagnon) Field, 92, a Windham resident for more than six decades and formerly of Pelham and Hudson, died Thursday evening, Sept. 1, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She was the wife of Francis H. Field, who died Feb. 27, 1986.She was born in Hudson, Oct. 27, 1912, daughter of the late Joseph C. and Maria (Ross) Gagnon. She was raised and educated in Hudson, where she attended the Presentation of Mary Academy.Mrs. Field had lived in Windham for the past 66 years and was a former Pelham resident.She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Pelham for many years.She loved caring for her family and enjoyed cooking and gardening.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia A. and Donald McAndrew of Nashua, with whom she resided; three sons and a daughter-in-law, George D. Field of Pelham, Louis G. and Marianne Field of Hooksett and Robert A. Field of Windham; 10 grandchildren, Gary and Kevin Field, Karen Simpson, Robin, Jeff, Scott, Robert, Debbie Lynn and Donna Lee Field and Patrick McAndrew; six great-grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Alex and Betty Gagnon of Hudson, and Eli Gagnon of Nashua; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was also the mother of the late Roger G. Field; grandmother of the late Daniel F. McAndrew; and sister of the late Arthur, Albert, Leo, Victor and William Gagnon, Rose Morrissette and Bertha Campbell.
