À la Maison mère des Soeurs de SainteAnne, à Lachine, le 2 octobre 2003, à l'âge de 79 ans, est décédée S. Eva Morris. Originaire de Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin, elle était la fille de feu John Morris et de feu Eva Séguin. Elle laisse dans le deuil, outre sa famille religieuse, sa soeur Berthe Tellone; son frère John Morris (sa belle-soeur Rita Spinney), de nombreux neveux et nièces et plusieurs amies. Elle sera exposée à la Maison mère des Soeurs de Sainte-Anne Pavillon Sainte-Anne 745, avenue Esther-Blondin (18e Ave) Lachine le dimanche 5 octobre 2003 de 14 à 17 h et de 19 à 21 h 30. Il y aura Célébration de la Parole à 19 h 30. Les funérailles auront lieu le 6 octobre 2003, à 10 h 15, en la chapelle de la Maison mère. Prière de ne pas envoyer de fleurs. On October 2, 2003 our beloved Eva passed gently from our loving arms into the arms of Our Lord. Born July 20, 1924 in Montreal. Eva will be mourned by her sister Bertha (Tellone), brother John and sister-in-law Rita, as well as by the members of the Congregation of the Sisters of Ste-Anne. Eva took her religious vows in September 1985. Her devotion to the Congregation was exemplary and included missionary work in Chile from 1989 to 1996. Prior to professing her religious vows, Eva enjoyed a successful career with the Saint-Lawrence Seaway Authority in St. Lambert. She will be dearly missed by the Sisters, her many friends and family, including nieces Christina, Denise, Francine, Donna, Lori, Lynda and Dale; nephews Edward and Steve as well as countless grand-nieces and nephews. We will miss our Aunt Teeva, and are grateful for her wisdom, her grace, and the valuable lessons she taught us until the end. Visiting hours will take place at La Maison Mere des Soeurs de Ste-Anne, 745 Ave. Esther Blondin (18th Ave), Lachine, Que., on Sunday, October 5, from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9:30 p.m. (prayer service at 7:30 p.m.). Funeral Mass to be held Monday, October 6 at 10:15 a.m. at the chapel of La Maison Mere. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be appreciated.
