Eva Blanton McHargue Walker PERRY - Mrs. Eva Blanton McHargue Walker, 101, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, in Madison, Fla. Mrs. Walker was a lifelong resident of Taylor County and was a homemaker. She was a long-term member of the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed sharing in the Bible education work.Cooking was her passion and in her spare time she enjoyed crocheting. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry McHargue and Kenneth Walker, a grandchild and a great-grandchild. Mrs. Walker is survived by two sons, William H. "Mac" McHargue (and wife Ethelle) and Kenneth V. McHargue (and wife Jamie), both of Perry; two daughters, Kathlyn Adleburg of Madison and Van Edith Burford (and husband Shelton) of Perry; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.Funeral services for Mrs. Walker will be conducted at 3 p.m. EDT Wednesday in the Memorial Chapel of Joe P. Burns Funeral Home with Elders Herald Johnson and Don Lake officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Joe P.
