HENDERSON, Eunice (nee Sinton) A life long resident of Essex. Passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on May 13, 2009 at 88 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Joe (1983). Dear mother of Mary and husband Keith Kaiser of Dorchester, Katharine and husband Robert Grant of British Columbia. Loving grandmother of John and Katherine Kaiser, William and Lorrie Kaiser, Martha and Brad Gwalchmai, Jolene and fianc Trent Cook, Kaili Grant and husband Ben Letts. Great-grandmother of Joseph, Stephanie, Ashley, Daniel, Danny, and the late Emme (2008). Eunice was a longtime active member of Essex United Church and a founding member of the Essex Retirees Association. She was a former Executive Secretary for the Windsor and Essex County TB Association. Eunice shared her knowledge on the history of Essex publishing articles in the Essex Free Press. Eunice is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Essex on Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Reverend Doreen Canavan officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Essex United Church Memorial Fund or Essex Retirees Building Fund.
