TUSCALOOSA | Eulalia Mae Graham Parker departed this world for her Heavenly Home on July 20, 2014 at Hospice of West Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Jack M. Parker; her daughter, Deborah Jean Parker; her parents, Mamie and Charles Francis Graham; three brothers and four sisters.She is survived by three daughters, Linda McGraw (David), Jackie Duclos (Eldon), Cathy Hallman (Randy); five grandchildren, Brian McGraw, Phillip McGraw, Shannon Bogert, Ryan Burkhalter, and Jarred Hallman; nine great- grandchildren; one sister, Delores Ann Kirk; and one brother, Charles Francis Graham Jr.Ms. Parker was born in Tuscaloosa County on August 1, 1929 and has lived in Alabama her entire life. She was a loving wife and served as a pastor's wife for over 50 years. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply. A call from the grandchildren always put a lovely smile on her face and she cherished time spent with them. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, playing dominoes and cards, and baking. Her flower beds were meticulously maintained and glorified the beauty of the world her God created. She loved to sing and participated in the Choir at The Regency Retirement Village. In her younger years, she sang in a gospel quartet that performed on the local radio stations.Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, SkylandBlvd. from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Presiding over the service will be Rev. Reggie Kirk (nephew) and Rev. Jimmy Garner (pastor). She was a long-time member of Skyland Blvd. Baptist Church where she faithfully attended services and taught Sunday school for years. Pallbearers will be Brian McGraw (grandson), Jarred Hallman (grandson), Mike Kirk (nephew), Tim Ingram, Neil Bogert, and Parks Burgin. Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip McGraw and Ryan Burkhalter (grandsons), Dr. Leonard Jones, Dr. Dirk Berry, Dr. Garfield Ramdeen, Dr. Charles Gross, Staff and Residents of The Regency Retirement Village, Staff of DaVita Dialysis Center, Ruth Sunday School Class at Skyland Blvd. Baptist, and many other relatives and friends.Eulalia (Lady) Parker was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She always had a smile on her face and encouraging words for those she met. She was truly the epitome of the virtuous woman described in Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 10-21. Lady's last words were that she always wanted to be a witness for God. Even in the final hours of her life she was praising God and singing beloved hymns. She will be missed by all of her family and friends, and memories of times spent with her will be cherished. Her motto of Fully Relying On God (FROG) and Pee-Wee will be remembered by all that knew her.Condolences for Ms. Parker can be made with floral arrangements or contributions to Hospice of West Alabama, Skyland Blvd. Baptist Building Fund or Taylorville Baptist Building Fund.
