NELSON Eula Mae Nelson “ Big Mama” was called home to glory on April 7, 2003. She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Pressie James Nelson; sister, Lizzie Mae Johnson; daughters, Deloris Stephens (Larry), Gloria Jennings and Lillie Wells; sons, Lucious Jennings and John Jennings ; two nieces; Dorothy Curtis and Sandra Johnson; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many dear friends. Homegoing Service will be held SATURDAY, April 12, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church, 740 Van Buren Street (Eastside). The cortege will assemble at 1926 Grunthal St. at 10:15 a.m. “ Big Mama” will rest in the mortuary for visitation of friends on Friday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. and in the Church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
