Obituary of Eugene-L. Carter

CARTER, Eugene L., 75, of Land O' Lakes, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008. He was born in Deland, Fla. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was an electrician and member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was also a member of Victorious Life Church in Wesley Chapel. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda; son, Stephen, and wife, Darlene, of Land O' Lakes; daughter, Wanda Dearth, and husband, Robert, of Chelsea, Ala.; brother, Larry Carter, and wife, Lou; sisters, Evelyn Hayhurst and husband, Jerry, Dorothy Webster and husband, Norman, Thelma Vandervort and husband, James, and Betty Epps; and grandchildren, Steve, Lauren, Branden and Hannah. A funeral service at 10 a.m. Friday at Loyless Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Loyless Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
