JOHNSON, ETTA, 86Etta Johnson, age 86, formerly of Englewood, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Born and raised in Waco, KY., Etta lived in Dayton for over 25 yrs. before retiring to Salt Springs, FL. She was a very sweet, loving and devoted wife and mother, whose greatest joy was caring for her children and others. Etta was a member of Grace Community Church in Huber Heights and a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 yrs., William L. Johnson; son David Johnson; brothers James and Arnold Fritz; and sister Anne Benge. Etta is survived by her daughter Bonnie (John) Preston; grandchildren Matthew (Jessica) Preston and David (Rachel) Preston; great-grandchild Aurora Preston; niece Luanne Warner; and nephew Robert Benge. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 28, 2011 at 10:00AM at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with Pastor Robert Foote officiating. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
