Etta Jeanne Williams, died February 17, 2010 at the Town & Country Nursing Home in Lowell at the age of 82, after a lengthy illness of living with Alzheimers disease. She was the wife of the late, Bob E. Williams. Jeanne was born on November 2, 1927 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of the late John and Lena (Pickens) Collier. She was educated in the Iowa school system. For most of her life she and her husband made their home in Concord, MA and also lived briefly in Tyngsborough, MA with her daughter and son-in-law; Terilyn and Bud Costello and her grandchildren; Ryan and Kristine Costello. Before retiring, Mrs. Williams was employed by: G.E. Telephone Company, Digital Electronics Corp in Maynard, MA and The Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association. She was an avid gardener and also enjoyed bingo and making crafts for family and friends. She and her husband were fortunate and blessed to have adopted all of their children and devoted their life to them. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Terilyn and Bud Costello of Nashua, NH, sons; David, Phillip and John Williams, daughters; Patricia and Kim Williams and grandson; Jason Williams whom she also raised. She also leaves twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A memorial service for Jeanne will be celebrated at BLAKE FUNERAL HOME at a later date.
