Ethel White Henderson, 102, of Pewee Valley, died Wednesday. She was a retired public school teacher and a member of Pewee Valley First Baptist Church, where she served on the Mothers' Board. She was also a member of the J.B. Tinsley Senior Citizens Center, Pewee Valley Junior Homemakers and Shelby County Homemakers. She is survived by cousins, Alice, Amelia and Elishia Durrett, all of Pewee Valley and a foster daughter, Marie Works of Tulsa, OK. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pewee Valley First Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the church.
