JONES, ETHEL VIRGINIA, 97, of Mt. Washington, KY, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Franciscan Health Care. She worked in food concession for Canteen Food Service, and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and the National Campers-Hikers Association. She is survived by her children, Betty Moore (Donnie) and Thilo Tharp (Marilyn); stepdaughter, Jean Jones; seven grandchildren; nine great -grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home, with burial in Hebron Cemetery. Vitiations will be 1-8 p.m. Tuesday. The family would like to thank Franciscan Health Care and Green Meadows for her care.
