SMITH _ Ethel, (nee Holt), born February 6th, 1907 in Manchester, England, passed away suddenly August 11th, 2002, aged 95. Ethel lived most of her life on the Isle of Man and is survived by her son Douglas, daughter-in-law Lisa, grandchildren Hillary and Bobby and numerous relatives in the U.K., Canada and Australia. Predeceased by her husband Arthur and son Bobby. Ethel travelled to Canada often during her lifetime and made lasting friendships in Vancouver and vicinity. Funeral service to be held Tuesday, August 20th at Douglas Borough Cemetery Chapel, Glencrutchery Road, Douglas, Isle of Man. Vancouver memorial get-together to be announced at later date.
