->WATERVILLE -- Ethel Mary McClure, 79, passed away on Oct. 10, 2008, at her home in Waterville, surrounded by her loving family and friends.She was born on June 27, 1929, the daughter of Joseph G. Jenness and Augusta M. Glazier. Ethel married Robert L. McClure. Ethel attended Waterville schools, then moved on to work at a chicken factory. She enjoyed playing cards, dice and watching her favorite television shows. She also enjoyed dancing at a local bar with her favorite dance partner, Gubby. She had a great sense of humor and would always speak her mind.Ethel is predeceased by her parents; her husband; a son, Raymond McClure; three sisters, Martha, Alice and Arlene; and three brothers, Albert, Robert and Arthur.Ethel is survived by four children, Bobby McClure, Foster McClure, Walter McClure and Lorette Randall and her husband, Ezra; three sisters, Theresa, Marguerite, Irene; and one brother, George; six grandchildren, Angel, Alicia, Tracey, Troy, Rayann and Brandy; and nine great-grandchildren, Kianna, Tanisha, Treavor, Ivy , Bryce, Brookie and Alan. She will also be sadly missed by many neices, nephews and special friends.Visitation will take place 3-4 p.m. Tuesday at Veilleux Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. A burial will occur at Maine Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
